Jerrie Feisal serves as the Epidemiologist for the Physical Activity and Nutrition (PAN) Branch, N.C. Division of Public Health. She works within the Evaluation and Surveillance unit of the branch and serves as a technical resource to the Physical Activity Healthy Environments Policy Initiative.
Prior to joining the Branch, Jerrie worked as a clinical recruiter for the Children’s Environmental Health Initiative and has worked in various capacities on various research projects relating to maternal health and health disparities.
Jerrie earned a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies and Health and Societies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in health behavior and health education.
Jerrie loves reading and really enjoys trying out new restaurants. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling whenever possible.
