He works as the Evaluation Coordinator for the Healthy Places, Active Spaces grant program, evaluating PAN's partnership with organizations seeking to increase access to physical activity and nutrition among underserved youth in Wake County. His second position is Data Manager with the Healthy Environments Initiative, an ARRA-funded project studying state policy and raising public awareness related to physical activity access in the built environment. He also provides support to PAN's Health Promotion Unit, which works with county health departments promoting strategies to make communities more supportive of healthy living.

He received a B.A. from Hamilton College in Comparative Literature with a minor in French.

Outside of the office, Rocky plays Ultimate Frisbee and little else. He takes occasional breaks to watch nature shows or walk dogs in animal shelters. He loves travelling but always enjoys returning "home" to the Triangle, even though (technically) he's from south Jersey.
